How we collect, use, and look after the personal information you give us when you book a cleaning.
We are Blue Clean LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you book a cleaning, why we hold it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
It is written to be read rather than to be defensible. Where we hold something, it says so; where we do not, it says that too.
Only what a cleaning needs. You give us most of it directly, on the booking form or in your account.
We do not store card numbers. Nothing in our systems ever sees one: the card form on this site is served by Square inside their own page, so the digits you type go straight to them and never reach us, and the crew’s card reader works the same way.
You may save a card to your account so a later visit can be paid without re-entering it. The card itself is held by Square, under their terms and in their systems. What we keep is the label: the name on the card, its brand, the last four digits, the expiry date, whether you have marked it as your default, and a reference Square gives us so that the same card saved twice is recognised as one card rather than two. Enough to show you which cards you have saved, and not enough to charge one anywhere else. Remove a card from your billing page and we delete it at Square as well.
We also keep our own record of card payments taken through this site — the amount, the date, which appointment it was for, which of your saved cards it went on, how much of it has been refunded, and a link to Square’s receipt. Square keeps the fuller record, including its own customer directory entry for you and the receipt it emails you, which we can see through their dashboard but never hold ourselves.
We do not buy personal information from anyone, we do not sell yours to anyone, and we run no advertising or tracking scripts on this site. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making about you.
To do the thing you asked for and to keep an honest record of it. Your details let us price the work, send a crew, confirm the appointment, remind you before it, and answer questions about it afterwards.
We also keep what a business has to keep: what was booked, what it cost, and whether it was paid. That record is what lets us settle a query about a visit months later, and it is why an appointment keeps its own copy of the address and price rather than following changes you make to your account.
The crew assigned to your cleaning sees what they need to arrive and do the work: your name, the address, what the home is like, and any note you left them.
Beyond that, only the companies that run the machinery underneath this site. Each handles the data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.
We do not ask you to invent a password. Signing in sends a one-time link to your email address; the link expires after fifteen minutes and stops working once it has been used. What we store is a hash of the link rather than the link itself, so a copy of our database will not sign anyone in.
Booking as a guest works the same way. Your booking is held for thirty minutes while we email you a confirmation link, and only becomes an appointment when you click it. If you never do, the held booking and the details in it are deleted rather than kept.
Our public forms are limited by how often they can be used, so nobody can flood our inboxes or fill the calendar with nonsense. Doing that means briefly counting requests against the network address they came from, or against the email address a sign-in was asked for. These counters expire on their own and are not used to build any picture of you.
Your account and your appointment history stay while you have an account with us, because that record is what an appointment is. The short-lived things go quickly and on their own: a sign-in link lasts fifteen minutes, a guest booking held for confirmation lasts thirty, and both are deleted once spent or lapsed.
Ask us to close your account and we delete the record and the appointments on it. That is a real deletion rather than a hidden flag, so it cannot be undone and we will say so before doing it.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can change your name, address and phone number yourself at any time from your profile, and cancel or reschedule your own appointments from your account.
Write to support@blueclean.pro and a person will answer. We will not ask you to explain why, and asking costs you nothing.
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children, and nothing on this site is aimed at them.
If what we collect or who we share it with changes, this page changes first and the date at the top of it tells you when. We will not quietly start using your details for something you did not agree to.
